On-TRAC Transitions from CDC Join to SharePoint Online
CDC developed the Online Technical Resource and Assistance Center (On-TRAC) to provide health departments with a secure, user-friendly platform for requesting technical assistance from CDC subject matter experts on public health preparedness. In addition to tools and resources to support CDC’s 15 public health preparedness capabilities, On-TRAC offers answers to frequently asked questions, enhanced search engine capacity, expanded peer-to-peer exchanges (with regional workspaces), and more than 400 new resources. To date, On-TRAC was hosted in CDC Join, but it has now been transitioned to SharePoint Online. To access On-TRAC, users will be prompted to enter their SAMS (Secure Access Management System) account usernames and passwords instead of their CDC Join credentials. As part of the transition, DSLR is working to provide SAMS approval to existing On-TRAC users. On-TRAC users can expect to receive an email from SAMS with instructions to activate their access to On-TRAC in SAMS. For new On-TRAC users, instructions on how to request a SAMS account is available on the CDC Website. Source: CDC Comments are closed.
